Background
Kerry Osborne graduated from Northumbria University in 2003 as a Registered General Nurse. In 2014 she completed her MSc in Dermatology Skills and Treatment at Hertfordshire University.
Kerry has worked in Dermatology & Skin Cancer for the past 12 years. She was instrumental in setting up a nurse-led skin/surgery clinic in the south of Tyne & Wear.
From 2018 to 2023 Kerry worked as Lead Skin Cancer Clinical Nurse Specialist at County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust. and was a core member of the local Skin Cancer Multidisciplinary Team.
Specialism
Kerry's primary area of specialty is skin cancer, with specialist training and experience in skin lesion recognition and dermoscopy. Her other areas of clinic expertise include nurse education and training, and skin laser procedures.
Her role at Skin Surgery Clinic Newcastle is to use her specialist knowledge and skills in skin lesion diagnosis and mole mapping.
She is also our Clinic Manager on Tyneside.
