There are two methods of mole removal that we employ at the Skin Surgery Clinic. The first is the removal of a mole by Surgical Excision, whereby a skilled Doctor will ‘shave’ off the affected tissue. The other is Laser Mole Removal, where a class 4 medical grade laser quickly and effectively ablates the mole. Both treatments are carried out using a local anaesthetic and are completely safe.
Our Doctors, who are trained in Dermatology, will assess your moles to ensure that they are benign (non-cancerous) and therefore suitable for removal without biopsy. They will be able to explain all the options available to you in full and guide you through the potential treatments available.
