In this video, Mr Tom Collin explains the three main types of skin cancer: Basal Cell Carcinoma (BCC), Squamous Cell Carcinoma (SCC), and Melanoma. He provides a detailed overview of what each one is, offering valuable insights into these common skin conditions.

In our most recent Skin Cancer Removal video filmed October 2024, Mr David Watt carries out a procedure on a patient with a basal cell carcinoma on their nose.

He uses a local flap of skin from her cheek to help close the wound without distorting her nostril. This patient needed to return to the clinic a week after her procedure to have her stitches removed.

Mr Watt and the assisting HCA Caroline then gave aftercare advice to our patient and explained the next steps to ensure that the patient is cancer-free.
