Hello. It's William Breakey here, consultant plastic surgeon at the Skin Surgery Clinic. This video illustrates the removal of a noncancerous skin lesion from this lovely gentleman's right cheek. It's a simple procedure with local anaesthetic where the lesion is removed and simple interrupted sutures are used to close the wound. These sutures will be removed in five to seven days time and the patient will go home the same day.
