Background
Dr Simpson graduated from the University of Leeds in 1999. He completed his foundation training in Leeds and Hull before completing GP training in the Yorkshire region in 2006.
Dr Simpson has completed the Diploma in Dermatology and has worked closely with the Dermatology departments in Bradford and Newcastle. He has worked in community dermatology clinics in Bradford, and Manchester.
More recently he is working at the Royal Victoria Infirmary as a specialty doctor in dermatology in the skin cancer assessment clinics and general dermatology clinic at Cramlington. He also spends half his week working as a GP in Wallsend.

Dr Simpson's areas of clinic interest include general dermatology and skin cancer.
At Skin Surgery Clinic Newcastle he carries out dermatology consultations and follow-up reviews. He also focuses on skin cancer screening, in the form of mole/lesion checks and our unique full-body computerised mole mapping service.
