Background
From 1990 to 2020 Professor Wright was a Consultant Dermatologist at Bradford Hospital NHS Trust. He retired from the Trust in 2020 but continues in clinical practice.
From 2006 until 2020 he was Lead Clinician for the service and also Lead Clinician for the Trust's skin cancer services.
In 2012 he was appointed visiting Professor Centre for Skin Science at the University of Bradford, and is their clinical director.
Professor Wright has a degree in immunology. He is a member of several professional societies including the British Association of Dermatologists and the American Academy of Dermatology. Professor Wright has published extensively in peer-reviewed medical journals and presented at conferences both nationally and internationally.
