“It was personal for me to have this procedure done because my right eyelid particularly was really droopy. I couldn’t put eye makeup on properly. I really struggled whenever I put makeup on my eyelids, it would smudge all over. I felt family and friends could see how much they had dropped. My opticians wanted to refer me to the NHS if they got any worse. It was affecting my eyesight and they were getting more achy as time went on. I just wanted my eyes to look nice.
Like everybody on the day, I was very nervous. It’s your eyes. It’s a big thing. But when I walked in to the clinic all the staff put me at ease. Everyone was so kind and Mr Watt himself was so nice. Once I was laid down in the operating room I didn’t feel a thing. I was really surprised at how little pain there was during. I also want to say a big thank you to Nurse Anne who was assisting Mr Watt. She went through all the aftercare and checked on me throughout when I was resting in the recovery room. She was really brilliant.
I was really surprised at how little pain there was in the weeks to follow. I was told I could take painkillers if I needed to, but I never needed any. The swelling went down really quickly. I followed the aftercare I was given and daily you could see a huge improvement.
I have been over the moon from day 1. If I’m considering to have something else done in the future, I will be back here. I won’t go anywhere else now. The procedure has exceeded my expectations and given me more confidence to live my life. I’m so happy with the whole experience. It’s been first class.”
