Background
Dr Mark Gilhooly is an experienced General Practitioner with a strong clinical background. He obtained his medical degree (MBChB) from the University of Manchester before returning to West Yorkshire to complete his General Practice training.
Since qualifying as a GP in 2013, he has worked continuously in General Practice and has taken on additional responsibilities as a GP Appraiser for NHS England, supporting the professional development and revalidation of fellow GPs.

Dr Gilhooly has over a decade of experience as a GP with a Special Interest in Dermatology and Minor Surgery. He holds full accreditation as a GP with Extended Role (GPwER) in Dermatology and works nationally as Co-Chair of the GPwER Dermatology & Minor Surgery Accreditation Programme, helping to set and uphold professional standards in extended dermatology roles for GPs across the UK.
His clinical work includes running NHS General Dermatology and Minor Surgery Clinics in Bingley, where he provides high-quality patient care and performs a range of dermatological procedures, including the management of skin cancer.
