Surgical Cyst Removal

For more complex procedures patients we need to be assessed by a Consultant at least a week before the procedure date to determine the best course of action. This decision will be made at the initial consultation or for patients travelling from distance via our online consultation form.

• Consultation with the Consultant / Doctor on the day of the procedure
• The procedure itself
• Post procedure care pack
• Optional 2 week review appointment with one of our Clinical Nurses (usually not required, but please do ask if you would like an additional review appointment.)

All procedures are carried out by a Consultant Plastic Surgeon.

We also treat unusually large cysts that require a longer appointment. In these cases we will discuss the price before you book in or make a deposit.

Lipoma Removal

Lipomas are lumps on the skin. They can be similar in appearance to cysts, but are softer to the touch as they are filled with fatty tissue. They are removed surgically under local anaesthetic.

All procedures are carried out by a Consultant Plastic Surgeon.

Dermatology

A private Dermatology appointment is a way to get expert help on a wide range of skin conditions, without needing a referral or going onto a waiting list.

Consultation appointments are offered with one of our Consultant Dermatologists or GPs with Specialism in Dermatology. All our Dermatologists are highly experienced both privately and in the NHS alongside their work at Skin Surgery Clinic.

Review appointments are follow-up appointments booked within six months to discuss the same concern/condition with your Dermatologist as in your original appointment.

For many patients, an annual appointment is recommended. We discount repeat mapping appointments to £250 if you return within two years. After that, the price reverts to £350.

Private Skin Cancer Treatment

The exact cost of the procedure depends on the size, severity and number of lesions/BCCs and the time required to operate on them.

At the direction of your Consultant Surgeon, further procedures may be required to treat certain skin cancer conditions successfully. This can be discussed at your consultation appointment.
