Private Skin Cancer Treatment

The exact cost of the procedure depends on the size, severity and number of lesions/BCCs and the time required to operate on them.

At the direction of your Consultant Surgeon, further procedures may be required to treat certain skin cancer conditions successfully. This can be discussed at your consultation appointment.

Dermatology

A private Dermatology appointment is a way to get expert help on a wide range of skin conditions, without needing a referral or going onto a waiting list.

Consultation appointments are offered with one of our Consultant Dermatologists or GPs with Specialism in Dermatology. All our Dermatologists are highly experienced both privately and in the NHS alongside their work at Skin Surgery Clinic.

Review appointments are follow-up appointments booked within six months to discuss the same concern/condition with your Dermatologist as in your original appointment.

Mole Removal

All laser mole removal procedures include the following:

• Initial consultation with one of our Surgical Nurses. This can be carried out in the clinic or over the telephone (after submitting an Online Consultation - ideal for patients travelling from a distance or for those who have limited time available).
• Consultation with the Consultant / Doctor on the day of the procedure
• The procedure itself
• Post procedure care pack
• Optional 2 week review appointment with one of our Clinical Nurses (usually not required, but please do ask if you would like an additional review appointment.)

Lipomas are lumps on the skin. They can be similar in appearance to cysts, but are softer to the touch as they are filled with fatty tissue. They are removed surgically under local anaesthetic.
